LibrariansForFairness a project of PR firm Rothstein and Memsic

This is from LISNews. It turns out that LibrariansForFairness, the ostensible library group that opposed SRRT’s criticism of Israel a few years ago, is actually a project of the PR firm Rothstein and Memsic, which is connected with Standwithus, a pro-Israel lobby group. The rundown is LISNews, though brief, is very interesting and presents the actual evidence, and I congratulate the blogger there calling himself Daniel who dug up the information.

  1. The “Legal Disclaimer” page on the StandWithUs site states:

“The Israel Emergency Alliance, aka StandWithUs, is a not-for-profit tax-exempt educational and charitable 501(c)(3) organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States of America.”

I.e., this is one “front group” to which one can make a tax-deductable donation.

You are a bigoted extremist moron.

  2. Ha ha! Rothstein is still the head of Standwithus, and his PR firm is still behind LibrariansForFreedom! So what if Standwithus is a 501(c)(3)? What is that supposed to tell us?

And Jack, I am not bigoted, nor an extremist, nor a moron.

The clearer it becomes that the bellicose conservatives have run out of gas and are no longer believed when they rail against the “liberals in power,” the more you resort to over-the-top, totally baseless insults in your comments on my blog.

  3. You and Standwithus say you are “fact based”. Are your facts quotes from the Jerusalem Post? Try Haáretz sometime. They are Israelis too, and offer an infinitely broader coverage than the propaganda outlets in the US.
